Formula One racing has never been the same as it goes green next year. It is based on the stakeholder’s agreement to utilize a brand new type of engine for grand prix which is set on the year 2013. It is likely that the Formula One race cars will be officially transformed into eco-friendly next gen race cars in the near future. According to the F1 big green press announcement, there will be new rules set by FIA and it is certainly confirmed by the governing body. On the other hand, Ferrari and Mercedes was quite hesitant with the move considering that it will be an additional cost and saying that it was an unnecessary expense during the time when the Formula One is planning to lessen its cost. Although, the set of rules had already been agreed by the committee, the spokesman of Ferrari said that, “if it was not announced by the world council, he would be surprised.” This new development would be adding more cost grounds and he had a few concerns regarding this plan. However, he stated that if there is an agreement, we must work accordingly.
This “Green” engine grand prix car advocacy is said to be based on reflection towards the trend of the road car fuel efficiency and to make it more recognizable in the world of auto racing. Thus, it will augment the demands and supply of these types of engines for the coming years and for the next generation as well. Currently, Formula race cars are using the 2.4 liters V8s engine which will become a history very soon. The new type of “green” cars will be using a 1.6 liters with 4 cylinder turbo engines that have fuel control, and the so-called energy recovery systems. It is possible that the F1 organization will be switching to a green technology, as well as using cleaner fuels that will be beneficial in the auto racing industry for the years to come.

The event will also feature parties, concerts and exhibitions that will surely turn the table upside down. Simulated races and Exotic car show will be held on Strips of Las Vegas to make the event more special and interesting.

And the event is not yet complete because F1 is setting up the unexpected fan village where fanatics and other F1 enthusiasts are welcome to join just like in a real F1 races. The event is rendered as a giant celebration where fan get the chance to see F1 cars together with tech, boosters and high definition engines up close. The estimated costs for adult tickets are said to be thirty dollars while kids are fifteen dollar; people can also avail of VIP options and other several charity events where tickets are available for purchase.

The so-called F1 exhibition is wonderful, but everyone thinks that Las Vegas is the most perfect place for another American F1 race that anyone would love to see a real race to be scheduled here. As a popular tourist destination, Las Vegas is accessible to the U.S. for about three to four hours. Comments rained over Vegas as the perfect place to hold the Grand Prix for Formula 1 race. The active city became more active after knowing that F1 is coming, the city was said to offer great attraction including the Formula 1 event that will add to the car fun moment for the fans. Organizers of the said event like Autosports, which is a well-known Marketing Group, will be leading the Formula 1 race even in Vegas.
Las Vegas already hosted several Formula events, and that includes the Grand Prix in Caesars Palace that was held in the year of 1981 and year 1982. Alan Jones was the winner of the 1981 Race in Vegas and Alain Prost was crowned second while Nigel Mansell who is a British legend came fourth. The tensions rise as the event comes closer and fans are asking for more F1 races.

The trick for the aftermarket people is to design the system to both silence the noise to a reasonable amount and to improve the airflow through the system. Tuning the exhaust is difficult as the cars layout may affect the size, route and length of the System.

Many aftermarket sports exhaust systems are made from stainless steel, but beware that some can weigh more than the standard system and therefore make any increases in horse power void. Shop around and ask how much they weigh. Also be aware that there are varying degrees of stainless steel, so again ask and shop around for that stainless exhaust system.

But at least I would like to try it

It was a fairly routine race, the first of the season not to feature at least one safety car period, but the battle for the race victory was fairly straight forward for Button as Glock got the jump on Trulli and led the field in the early stages but then Toyota opted to run the harder prime tyres during the second stint and both Glock and Trulli quickly fell away from the leading Brawn Mercedes.

Toyota’s strategy not only cost them any chance of a race victory but also allowed Sebastian Vettel to get the jump on Trulli in the second and final stop and the Red Bull Renault racer would go on to finish in second position, withstanding the late race pressure from Trulli back on the softer (faster) option tyre.

The opening lap of the 57-lap race was key to Button’s success as he initially lost position to Lewis Hamilton who made best of his KERS-equipped McLaren Mercedes off the line, but a brave move from the Brawn driver later in the lap saw him regain the position and therefore allow him to tail the Toyota duo to the first round of stops.

Jenson Button recorded his third win from four starts this year and extended his lead in the championship over Brawn Mercedes team-mate Rubens Barrichello. While Button celebrated his success BMW Sauber head home after finishing last and in between there were varying fortunes. Here’s what the drivers had to say…

“It was a great race today and I’m so happy to have seen the chequered flag without a safety car or red light in front of me! To achieve my third victory of the season is amazing and we are going back to Europe with a strong lead in both championships. I couldn’t wish for anything more. It has been a tough weekend for the team which makes this win even more rewarding as we didn’t have the pace that we expected. I was really happy with my first lap. I knew that I had to overtake Sebastian quickly and got him round the outside on turn one. I had a couple of attempts at Lewis round the first lap and almost got him at the last corner. I knew that he would pull away from me on the straight so I dropped in behind and used the tow to overtake him at turn one. It wasn’t easy from there but getting up to third on the first lap was crucial for me. Our thanks to Mercedes-Benz this weekend who have not only provided us with a powerful engine but have integrated so well with our team. You need a close-knit unit to succeed in Formula One and that is what we have at this team.”
